Woke Chickens 1/6/2023

Recently, my wife, Sue, gave me a grocery list and to the store I went. Most everything was higher priced than I remember, but the shock came at the egg counter. Well over four dollars a dozen, even for eggs they call large which I would call small. At 40 cents per egg, will that mean less of my favorite appetizer, deviled eggs? I decided to investigate.

My planned trip visiting family was heading me in the right direction. Iowa is the largest egg producing state, 17.1 billion eggs annually from 58 million laying hens. I would find the answer.

I parked the car a quarter mile from a chicken building complex and discreetly walked to a barn, put my ear to a screen, and listened. All I could hear was plucking. But I was prepared, I had loaded a Gallus Domesticus (chicken) translation app on my phone.  I listened.

Like our human earth co-inhabitants, we will no longer be restricted to the DNA of our hatching or birth. Roosters have always been given special treatment. Why is it only they with their majestic red combs, who crow in the morning waking the world, represent our species? Will we remain in slavery laboring to dispel these monstrosity-sized white or brown ovals?

Humans think evolution has given them dominion to lead the way, so be it. As they question the gender they were consigned when they join the world, so will we. The hormones many of us now take, relieves us of a great burden. We are more than carbon factories for human food.

With hormones, I will grow a great red comb on my head equaling any comb worn by a privileged hatched rooster. For I am now a rooster also.

“Yes, yes,” plucked a hen listening. “I too will take hormones.”

Another added, “I’m skeptical, but it is the ‘IN’ thing to do. I will follow.”

With fear working its way up my spine, I quietly backed away and headed toward my car. I had my answer, but would anyone believe me?

(Thank you cousin Brenda for the satire idea)

Team Nicknames

-1/17/23

Washington renaming their NFL team started a trend that
should be continued. Although a Washington Post poll of native Americans found most
said the nickname ‘Redskins’ made them proud, the paper didn’t publish
the results. Being correct is more important than being right.Without a doubt, an appropriate name for a team representing
our betters is “Commanders.” The archaic myth inspired by
our discredited nation’s founders that government is to serve the people is
passe. If such were the case, they should be called the ‘Washington Servants”.One of the most inappropriate team nicknames is Dallas’s ‘Cowboys”.
The list of hurtful acts and consequences of egregious cowboy behavior is
long.
1.    Cowboys
fought and displaced peaceful native Americans.
2.    Cowboys
unapologetically carried guns made for killing.
3.    Cowboys
without allowing court-appointed attorneys on occasion left poor hungry
rustlers hanging from live oak trees.
4.    Cowboys
unabashedly consumed the animals they were charged with protecting.
5.    Cowboys
efficiently produced cheap beef for the dinner plates of city dwellers, raising
cholesterol levels, hastening human suffering and death.
6.    Cowboys
enabled expansion of beef herds creating more flatulence, methane gas,
poisoning our environment.
7.    Cowboys
inspired old Hollywood to glorify the rugged individualism of cowboys at the
expense of the greater community.
8.    Cowboys,
the word itself, is chauvinist as it is exclusive of cowgirls.
9.    Cowboys,
the football team, inspired the Dallas Cheerleaders degrading women as sex
objects.
10. Cowboys
battled Mexican bandits who only wished to claim cattle raised on grass from
their former land.
11. Cowboys
recognized no rights of animals whose DNA is very close to humans, our cousins
in life.
12.  Cowboys bred, raised, and facilitated the
transportation of cattle to a grizzly end in slaughterhouses.
13. Cowboys
were part of a supply chain including slaughterhouses in Chicago which held
workers in vile slave-like killing factories.
14. Cowboys
containing ‘boy’ insinuates an outdated binary gender belief.
Surely in a ‘woke’ society no one can support a team
carrying such a sullen name, let alone watch a game that glorifies barbaric
testosterone-inspired combat. Dallas, please enter the twenty-first century and
change your football’s team’s nickname. If the brutal game must continue,
perhaps ‘’The Dallas Bluebonnets’ would be more appropriate given
the team colors, or Dallas Mockingbirds.
Beside Dallas and Washington perhaps these NFL
teams should also change their nicknames:
New England Patriots  –do we really want to
celebrate our past, slavery, disenfranchisement, no economic equality.

Buffalo Bills – Buffalo Bill is associated with cowboys, see above
Green Bay Packers  — Slaughterhouses and gruesome working
conditions.

Houston Texans –They stole land from indigenous
people, and Mexicans

Los Angeles Chargers  –brings to mind charging into a killing battle.
Minnesota Vikings  –raiders, molesters, and pillagers of coastal
Europe for centuries.

New Orleans Saints  –religious beliefs are archaic and pagan
New York Giants –tallism diminishes those of less height.
New York Jets —celebrates a weapon of war that pollutes.
Oakland Raiders  –see Vikings above
Philadelphia Eagles – emblematic of America-see Patriots above.
Pittsburgh Steelers  –Many non-union steel sweat shops.
San Francisco 49ers   –symbolic of mining, greed for gold
Tampa Bay Buccaneers   –pirates, thieves, molesters, social
Darwinists on steroids

Denver Broncos –brutal use of an animal by cowboys and beast of burden.
Tennessee Titans –a kinder name for greedy robber barons.Other NFL teams are nicknamed for animals without negative overtones.
Why can’t teams find nicknames like the Dolphins of Miami, peaceful,
intelligent animals that do not destroy the environment?   We know that animals are morally superior to loathsome humankind. That is why some Malthusian opinion leaders
say no city should be bigger than 50,000 and the human population should be a tenth of what it is.  All we need are volunteers to step forward for downsizing.

Classified Documents – Big Picture 1/31/2023

Documents classified by various agencies have been found in Presidents Trump and Biden’s possession. In addition, former VP Pence and yet-to-be determined how many other former Presidents and VPs may have such documents.

Although both sides of the political spectrum agree overclassification is common, they cry foul on the other for mishandling. Hopefully, neither Trump, Biden nor his son have leveraged classified material to extort money from foreign entities. Who did worse or was the most careless is a minor issue compared to the bigger one which is ignored.

Although partisans on both sides question the legitimacy of the last two presidents, right or wrong, by general consensus they were considered elected by the will of the people.

Our founding documents maintain that government exists by, of, and for the people. When was the National Archives elected to decide what the public could and could not see?  Given the CIA’s history of getting it wrong, (pending Soviet collapse, weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Pearl Harbor, 911, etc, etc.), should they be allowed to veto our elected representatives’ judgement as to what is classified –i.e., hidden from citizens?

Remember, Senate majority leader Schumer (D-NY) candidly said President Trump was ‘being really dumb” taking on the intelligence community. “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

The major issue is whether elected representatives should have the power of governance or deep state bureaucrats.

Sixty years ago this fall, President Kennedy was assassinated. Most all out of school at that time are now eighty plus years old. And yet the bureaucracy keeps 14,342 JFK assassination records classified. Perhaps full disclosure would put to rest many conspiracy theories or give them credibility. The defense department recently released a portion of information and evidence about their UFO investigations but continue to withhold much, why?.

Are government departments not beholden to elected officials and taxpayers who bankroll their secure, nearly untouchable jobs? Are government employees, such as the highest paid federal employee, Dr. Fauci, immune to repercussions from perjuring themselves before congress? Or James Clapper’s lie to congress that the NSA wasn’t collecting information on American citizens? Where in the constitution were bureaucrats placed above the law and given such power?

At what point do we no longer have a Republic or Democracy, but an Administrative State? Can anyone explain the difference between an administrative state and fascism or socialism?

Ultimately, I’m less concerned about Biden keeping classified documents in a garage with his Corvette, than bureaucrats controlling the flow of information.

CCP Spy Balloon 2/7/2023

Questions about the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) spy/weather balloon

  1. If not identified by the public would Washington have acknowledged the balloon’s existence?
  2. Might the CCP have been truthful, and they were just checking their investment in thousands of recently purchased acres of US farmland?
  3. Why was it not made public as it drifted over Alaska?
  4. Balloon flights took place during Trump’s term. Trump’s people deny they were   told of it, which the present administration now agrees. Why were they not told?

5.  President Biden says he ordered it shot down immediately. Why was it not done?

6.  Does the President’s condition render him not commander-in-chief?

7.  Do bureaucrats rule the country or elected leaders?

  • A pentagon excuse for restraint was potential harm to people in Montana, the state with the second smallest population density and eleven times more cattle than people. Are the feds more concerned about cows or our security?
  • The first state it crossed was the least populous, Alaska. Were the increasing population of polar bears a concern?
  • The Pentagon hints that they took measures to prevent the balloon from transmitting information. If it was rendered harmless, why then shoot it down.
  • If shooting it down was warranted, why wait until it exited the country after picking up what it wanted?
  • The debris from the balloon is being transported to FBI labs for inspection. Given the FBI’s political bias, will many people believe whatever the FBI concludes?
  • If congress convenes hearings on balloongate, will bureaucrats continue to be allowed to perjure themselves without consequences? If so, what is the point?
  • Which senators and congressmen will have conflicts of interest having gleaned wealth from the CCP? (i.e. Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell’s wealth and ties to the CCP)
  • Does the Pentagon place more emphasis on wokeness than border security?

Where does it end? 2/20/2023

A group of seven special high school students made plans to meet 10 years after high school. Each had challenges special to them. For some the remedy to acquire normality or narrow the gap between who they were and what they desired was easy. For others it required much societal adjustment and time.

Karen was teased for her light blue albino eyes – contacts solved the problem.

Sally’s large nose was cause for harassment – surgery solved the problem.

Jimmy/Jenny was born of the wrong gender – hormones/surgery solved the problem.

Tom was in the 40th intelligence percentile – lowering standards solved the problem.

Tara was born with a propensity to eat junk food – bigger desks solved the problem.

Bob was only 5’6” tall – weights placed on tall basketball players solved the problem.

Jeff’s family were criminals – no bail, leniency, and home arrest solved the problem.

At the ten year reunion most were pleased with their life except Jeff. He expanded upon his complaint. “Karen lives in a 4,000 square foot house. Sally lives in a 3,500 square foot home, while I live in a 1,000 studio apartment. Where is the fairness?

Karen answered, “I have worked 60 hour weeks for ten years to afford my home. Sally added, “My husband and I have both worked hard for what we have.”

Jeff responded, “I don’t disagree with what you said.  But Karen you were born with the proclivity to work hard, I was not. It is not my fault. Sally was brought up in an environment to respect and keep a marriage intact, I was not.”

Karen pointed out, “Sally and I already pay more taxes than most people.”

Tom intervened, “Doesn’t matter, it’s about results. I can understand the unfairness, but can the country afford to put everyone in homes greater than 3,000 ft?  From where, would the resources come without further destruction of the environment?”

Bob added, “Perhaps the solution is like mine in basketball. People should be restricted to living in homes less than 1,800 feet.”

Tom asked, “What would happen to people who live in big homes now?”

“Perhaps if you live in a home larger than 2500 feet you should turn it into a duplex,” suggested Bob.

Tara, who worked for the government, agreed with the solution given a caveat. “I think Bob’s idea is good. However, those who are responsible for making life fair for all should be exempt from the housing size limitation.”

“You mean government employees?” asked Sally.

“Yes, some must make life fair for all,” answered Tara.

Who was right? 2/28/2023

Throughout the Covid pandemic two narratives developed –The ‘follow the science’ position forwarded by the government, media, and big tech versus dissenting viewpoints most often labeled as conspiracy theories which were often censored.

It is now time to examine the evidence-based science and determine who was right.

Natural Virus Mutation vs Lab Leak Theory

According to a U.S. Energy Department classified intelligence report, the coronavirus pandemic most likely began with a laboratory leak. Do not expect the administration to make the report public, or the media, who labeled Senator Cotton as a fringe conspiracist and Soviet-style propagandist, to apologize.

Vaccination will prevent infection

President Biden assured Americans that they would not get covid if they were vaccinated. However, the majority of people dying from covid now are vaccinated.

Natural immunity

Although in the past Dr. Fauci praised natural immunity, he was unsure whether natural immunity was effective preventing covid recurrence. Research has shown natural immunity protection to be just as high, if not higher, than provided by two doses of an mRNA vaccine.

Lockdowns versus Freedom

Data shows no relationship between the covid death rate in lockdown states versus free states. The death rates in lockdown Michigan, New Jersey and New York are similar to Florida, although Florida has a much higher percent of vulnerable old people.

Value of Masks

Masks were required in public places and businesses for long periods of time. The Center for Disease Control said masks should be worn in public. They must cover your nose and mouth, fit under your chin and be snug on your face. Now aggregate research shows little or no benefit from mask usage.

Cost of lockdowns on young people

Higher rates of depression, increased drug use, poorer test scores, lower IQs, increased suicide rates, and heightened differential between high and low performing students all are outcomes of school closures isolating the least covid prone age group.

Gain-of-Function Research Funding

Gain-of-function research was banned in the US for safety reasons. Chronic perjurer Dr. Fauci continues to deny US funding of such research at the Wuhan lab while the National Institute of Health admits it.

Is it any wonder why public trust in government and the media is at all-time lows?

The danger is that given their loss of credibility, if a very dangerous health calamity strikes the country in the future, will anyone believe what we are told?

Thoughts on Trump indictment 3/31/2023

I believe the NYC indictment of former President Trump was a brilliant political move by leftists. It paves the way for the administrative state to remain in power for a number of reasons.

  1. It likely ensures the nomination of Trump in 2024 who likely is the weakest Republican candidate.
  2. It changes the national narrative from Biden’s failures to Trump’s prosecution.
  3. It may lead to over-reaction by MAGA supporters who are most certainly infiltrated by FBI agents attempting to encourage violence. Rioters are not treated equally.
  4. Some voters, although unhappy with the current administration, will be reluctant to vote for a possible criminal.
  5. Other voters, although they may prefer a Trump presidency, will be reluctant to vote for him given the leftwing temper tantrum it would ignite. Some will prefer peace over liberty.
  6. It reinforces the message that “there is a price for messing with us.” Note IRS’s unannounced visit to Matt Taibbi’s home after he published government-Twitter collusion e-mails. With 65,000 new IRS agents, is it dangerous voting against the administration on voting software that may not be private?
  7. Given the dichotomy of the corrupt Biden family immunity and the ‘bust-the-door-down’ treatment of those who oppose the administrative state, which is the safe vote? If you have ever done anything illegal or immoral, which is the safe side to reside?

Given the “economy is great,” “border is secure”, “climate change greatest security  threat”, “MAGA equals Nazis”, “parents are domestic terrorists”, and “American is now respected in the world” lies supported by the legacy media, it will take the discipline, the courage of our founding fathers and God’s help to overcome digression into tyranny.

2020s America 4/11/2023

Nancy had always been an advocate of feminist causes. Her husband, Gerald, supported his wife in her effort to seek equal treatment for women. He had even joined her on a few women’s marches protesting unequal pay for women.

The couple had two children, Amy and Darren. Their parents were adamant the children would be raised in harmony with popular culture. Hamstringing them with prejudices of prior generations would limit their ability to live happy fulfilling lives in modern society.

Amy was athletic and competitive. She was a star on her high school soccer team and under consideration for a sport scholarship at two universities. Weeks earlier, Nancy and Amy had registered for a weekend feminist seminar. The subject would be inclusivity.

“How will allowing a man to play in women’s collegiate soccer affect Amy’s scholarship prospects?” Gerald asked his wife.

“That’s not the point,” Nancy answered.

“I thought feminism was about helping women,” Gerald asked.

This time her answer was sarcastic, “It is, but the definition of women has changed. What are you a throwback?”

Gerald dropped the subject and wished his daughter and wife well as they left for the weekend feminist seminar.

Saturday evening Gerald sat home with Darren. “What did you do when you were seventeen, Dad?”

“Well, I explored. Tried to learn more about life and the world.”

“What do you mean about life and the world?”

“Frankly, my friends and I had a lot of curiosity about girls,” Gerald had decided to answer truthfully as Nancy, and he agreed they always would.

“What did you do to satisfy your curiosity?” was the natural follow-up question from Darren.

“Actually, my friends and I snuck into a strip club.”

Darren observed, “I looked at the itinerary of the seminar the women are going to, and tonight a drag show is scheduled. If they can go to a drag show, why can’t we go to a strip club?”

Gerald realized his son had a point. Times had changed. What constraints on behavior existed today? Surely with all else accepted, satisfying a young man’s curiosity about what a woman looked like would be in bounds.

Across town they parked in the gentlemen’s club lot and entered the front door. The fee was twenty dollars. Gerald handed the clerk forty.

“How old is the boy?” the clerk asked.

“He is nearly eighteen.”

“Would you step outside with us, sir,” a woman police officer said as she and her partner entered behind them. They had been sitting in the parking lot monitoring traffic entering the lewd establishment.

Downtown at the police station a Child Protective Services rep had been summoned. “We will take custody of your son until your wife returns. She has been notified of your attempt to expose your son to perversion.”

The police sergeant told Gerald to stand. He handcuffed him and announced, “You are under arrest for enticing a minor into perversion.” Turning to a patrolman he continued, “Lock him up.”

A week later Gerald was served divorce papers and a court order restricting him from contact with his son. The argument for the no contact order was Gerald had attempted to influence his son’s sexuality.

The End of Meritocracy 5/16/2023

Meritocracy (Merriam-Webster definition) – a system, organization, or society in which people are chosen and moved into positions of success, power, and influence on the basis of their demonstrated abilities and Merit.

A major ingredient in America’s rise to prosperity has been the adoption of meritocracy. The norm for previous civilizations had been advancement based upon being a member of the right social class and holding the right belief system. Unfortunately, it took time for meritocracy to be extended to all ethnic groups, but it happened.

We are now in danger of losing our meritocracy. Listed are a few examples.

  • The government will require home buyers with good credit scores above 680 to pay extra to subsidize those less frugal, Merit aside.
  • It has been proposed that college student loans be forgiven, lessening the incentive to work for an education.
  • Some schools are canceling AP courses, as they are injurious to the less studious. Merit ignored.
  • Some colleges are dropping SAT/ ACT scores in assessing applicants, and some public schools are dropping standardized tests. Merit be gone.
  • First lady, Jill Biden, broke tradition by ignoring Merit and inviting the defeated NCAA women’s basketball team to the White House.
  • Colin Kaepernick’s shoe endorsement deals are similar to the NFL’s leading rusher, Patrick Mahomes, although non-starter Kaepernick’s only claim to Merit is kneeling and bad mouthing the parents that chose to adopt him.
  • Having the top rated audience on cable television didn’t prevent Tucker Carlson’s firing. Cultural adherence trumps audience numbers, Merit.
  • Instead of choosing someone of Merit, a true national hero, perhaps someone who saved lives, a beer company and cosmetic company picked Dylan Mulvaney, whose heroic feat was putting on a dress, to promote their product.
  • Although I may disagree with their big government agenda, the Democratic party has many capable advocates, but instead of Merit they chose a senile old man to lead.
  • Pennsylvania voters chose Fetterman as senator, a man unfortunately mentally handicapped by disease. How many voters chose sympathy over Merit?
  • Hollywood continues to produce ‘woke’ movies which lose money instead of blockbusters such as ‘Top Gun -Maverick’. Wokeness trumps Merit.
  • Woke prosecutors in many cities ignore criminal activity showing little concern for past and future victim safety.
  • The Durham report found investigation and prosecution by the FBI and DOJ has less to do with the Merit of the chargesand more to do with which side of the cultural divide you reside.

Given the trend, does anyone believe 80,000 plus new IRS agents will only target taxpayers based upon the Merit of tax evasion evidence?

Flagrant Racism in America 6/1/2023

Google or Bing search Idaho and a top suggestion is ‘Idaho murders’ referencing the tragic murders of Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves. The alleged murderer, Bryan Kohberger, has been raised to near celebrity status by the media.

The murders occurred on November 12, nearly six months ago, and yet the media remains focused on the tragedy.

Last weekend, in Chicago, 53 people were shot in 42 incidents with 12 dead including a stabbing victim.  Unlike those in Idaho, we’ll likely never hear the names of those murdered. Twice as many people are killed each weekend in Chicago as were in Idaho six months ago. Although it has not been reported, assuredly most were black.

Will we see pictures of the 14 year old boy and 16 year old girl murdered last weekend as we did the college students in Idaho? Will the media lament their stolen futures? Their identities are ignored because drawing attention to the deadly mayhem in leftist run cities is taboo among the racist media.

Although Chicago sticks out, deadly violence is common in other leftist run cities. The media is quick to focus on law enforcement errors or a citizen protecting fellow subway riders, but they ignore the most common violence. While it is easy to say the media is protecting political allies running cities, the effect is racist.

The FBI was responsible for finding evidence in Pennsylvania implicating the alleged Idaho murderer.  What role will the FBI take in finding the murderers of  twelve in Chicago last weekend? You can bet none, or little. Their focus seems elsewhere- on political opponents rather than protecting inner city children.

Bottom line- the agency, started by J. Edgar Hoover with a history of targeting Martin Luther King, and exposed by the lengthy Durham investigation as politically biased, has priorities that are racist. Racist bureaus that ignore their mission should be defunded.

We constantly hear that all lives have the same value, but in practice do major institutions, which regularly accuse their political opponents of racism, share that value? Unfortunately for many, politics trumps equality.

Covid Hysteria Revisited 8/30/2023

During the Covid outbreak in 2020, these issues separated liberty-inclined Americans and those wishing to exert power:

            Mask mandates

            Vaccine mandates

            School closings

            Natural immunity versus vaccination

Contention that the virus originated accidentally rather than from CCP laboratory.

Besides much research that masks are of no value stopping the virus spread, a study published in the Journal of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety indicated that masks pose risks to wearers by toxins emitted by tight-fitting face coverings. Four types of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emanate from various masks with high enough levels to pose risks to human health.

In addition to health risks for certain segments of the population, vaccines did not prevent acquiring the virus as the President promised.

School closings hampered the education of our children, the least vulnerable demographic to covid harm. In their interests, the stronger teacher unions–the longer schools were closed irrespective of the effects on children. Before the pandemic 15 percent of students were chronically absent from school. Now an additional 6.5 million students are chronically absent, even double the number in long lockdown states. The precedent was set for avoiding attendance.

Contrary to medical evidence, we continually were told natural immunity was of little value compared to vaccination. Researchers examining 65 studies from 19 countries have found that natural immunity from the infection was “at least as high, if not higher” than the immunity provided by two vaccine doses.

We were told that covid coming from a lab leak was the crazy idea of fringe conspiracy theorists. We now know that much evidence supports the theory, it explains the CCP coverup, and experts, including perjurer Dr. Fauci, knew such and tried to censor the truth.

Surprise, surprise, liberty inclined Americans were right on all counts. Will we hear any admission of error from the left? -NO.

It is natural that well-meaning medical experts may disagree about how to handle a new virus outbreak. But what is disturbing is we hear no renunciation or recognition of proven overreaching by the leftist medical community and the media.

The deadly strains of the virus are gone, but the recent outbreak of mild flu-like symptoms is again invoking panic among the left. Nearly 100 universities are requiring masks this fall. Studios in Los Angeles are reinstating mask mandates and social distancing rules. A leader in the 2020 and 2021 hysteria, CNN, recently encouraged its web readers to not go outside without a mask.

This leftwing whitewashing of history is useful if you wish to use fear to install lockdowns at will, whether for a virus or hysterical porno-type climate change claims.

As efforts of the boy who continually hollered ‘wolf’ eventually backfired and invoked reason, perhaps the population will become immune to hyperbole.

The Chicago Way 9/18/23

Chicago was a city built by commerce, the meat packing capital of the world, the world’s commodity trading center, railway center, and gateway westward with shipping access through the great lakes. As capitalism built the city, socialism is destroying it.

The Chicago teachers’ union now effectively runs the city, having elected their own as mayor. Hypocrisy abounds as the President of the teacher’s union, Stacy Davis Gates, who calls private schools ‘fascist’ and ‘racist’, sends a child to a private school, as do 39% of Chicago public school teachers.

Mayor Johnson recently answered an interview question about Chicago school children’s low-test scores, stating that he did not pay much attention to scores but focused on how well the schools are funded.

Fact: CPS spends 29,307 per student, the national average is less than 15,000 while

Chicago student proficiency scores are much below the national average.

Forget the Chicago school debacle. The scariest thing out of Chicago came from the mayor this week. Mayor Johnson proposed the city consider getting into the grocery store business in areas abandoned by grocery companies.

Does anyone seriously believe the city could run a grocery business more efficiently than NASA does space exploration, AMTRAK runs a railroad, or, yes, the city’s public schools teach? How many people would require payoffs? The stores would require huge ever-growing subsidies. What anti-competitive regulations would be implemented?

Crime was the major reason groceries abandoned neighborhoods. Would thieves give a pass to public-owned grocery stores, or would the door be open to steal from the taxpayer rather than a company? Serious crime prosecution is off-limits.

Even a crude understanding of Economics 101 would tell you where this will lead. At the risk of cynicism, I must wonder, is it part of a plan?

Foreign Policy Disasters 10/9/2023

What do you do when given the task of picking a baseball recruit? One has no batting experience, the other has much experience batting you are told. You go for experience.

You applied the same rationale to voting for a president. President Biden, you were told, was the safe choice for president, if you were concerned with foreign policy and were desirous of a safe world over a man of boisterous rhetoric.

What less than three years has wrought:

-The largest land war in Europe has broken out since WWII.

-The Afghanistan withdrawal was a disaster with US weapons going to enemies.

-War breaks out in the middle east after the previous Abraham peace movement

-The policy of Hamas and Iran appeasement has failed miserably

-Jewish civilians are killed in the greatest numbers since the holocaust.

-Over 109,000 Americans died from fentanyl in 2022, most of it from Mexico

-China supplies the ingredients for fentanyl production

-China becomes more aggressive in the Pacific

-No consequences for China’s Covid lies and spread, killing over one million.

-Spy balloons fly over the US without repercussions

Perhaps, the foreign policy experience some suggested Biden had was only in the extortion of money.

A Time of Ironies 10/25/2023

It should not be unexpected that at a future point in time historians, if objectivity ever becomes vogue again, will call this a time of ironies.

-The most coveted universities in the country suppress or allow the suppression of conservative speech yet claim to be bastions of ideas and tolerate antisemitism as free speech.

-Marxist city prosecutors and politicians turn a blind eye to crime and seek to defund police. However, a police state exists in all socialist countries, tolerant of no crime.

-A baker who only chooses to do business with those congruent with his religion is endlessly harassed in court, but countries that allow gays to be tossed from roofs receive our aid.

-Feminists who fight for equal opportunity for women turn a blind eye when men deprive women of opportunity in sports.

-A large portion of public-school teachers in cities, whose unions advocate for the elimination of charter schools, send their children to private schools (Chicago 39%)

-Investigative journalists avoid the investigative element of their profession when a story fits their narrative: Covington boy, Biden laptop, Jussie Smollett hoax, covid source, no interest in the inner-city killing epidemic, after the Gasa hospital bombing source hoax, now they continue to take the Hamas death toll counts as fact. (this list could go on and on).

-Many Muslims are keen on accepting secular culturalist’s sympathy, but do not realize they are being used. Their beliefs are abhorrent to pop culture and ultimately, they will be targeted because in their view God is government not Allah.

-Protests that burn/destroy parts of cities are tolerated, few ever prosecuted, but protesters that question an election are endlessly gone after and have their six amendment rights crushed.

-Given the proper connections, tax fraud, drug crimes, prostitution, and gun law violations are ignored, and the investigations drug out until the statute of limitations takes effect while endless energy is spent prosecuting someone who overvalued property causing harm to no one.(arguably the first case of its kind ever tried in New York)

-“Follow the money”, a traditional key to finding criminal behavior, is ignored in politically unpalatable investigations.

Equal Culpability 11/4/2023

We hear a barrage from many sources today that civilians are not culpable for the actions of those they support. Palestinians are not responsible for the action of Hamas militant atrocities toward Israeli citizens we are told.

The barrage comes from the legacy media, college campuses (in addition to the outright support for the vilest terrorism), the United Nations and the Biden administration and half their Democrat/socialist party.

It was 2006 that Hamas won a plurality, 44% not a majority of Palestinian votes in the Gaza strip. Hamas broke the unity government deal by murdering moderate Fatah members. Those that weren’t killed, fled. Another election was never held; no opposition to Hamas rule ever surfaced.

Ninety years ago, 1933, Hindenburg named Hitler chancellor after Hitler received a plurality of 36.8 percent of the vote in 1932. Shortly after taking control Hitler’s henchmen burned the Reichstag, (Germany’s parliament) and National Socialism was born. In July, all opposition parties were outlawed.

As bad as the National Socialists were, they did not hide military command centers under hospital or schools. However, the atrocities committed by the National Socialists toward many groups including the Jewish population is well documented. If you doubt that, quit reading for you are either an imbecile, a naive impressionable student who has been brainwashed at a university, or a history revisionist with a mission.

Popular culture, led by Marxist dominated universities, commonly judges people and societies by today’s standards rather than by the times in which they lived. Lincoln was a racist, although he freed slaves, Columbus was culpable in genocide, although he knew nothing about smallpox spread, etc. etc.

If we apply the culturally elite’s rules equally in the past. Were our soldiers at Normandy not guilty of killing an innocent man when they took out a nazi machine gun nest manned by a Bavarian man who had killed no Jews?

Was the near total destruction of Dresden, Germany from allied air bombardment which caused the death of thousands of civilians not an act of disproportionate revenge?

Dictatorship Hoax 12/6/2023

Imagine a high school football game where the visiting team is limited to ten players and the bleachers are filled with boisterous home team fans. One referee is the local high school janitor and the other is running for the hometown city council. The visiting team’s goal post is narrower than the home teams, and the visiting team must play all four quarters into a brisk wind.

And yet the hometown coach complains the game is rigged against them and the conditions are dictatorial.

The montage we hear today, from multiple quarters who coordinate their message, is that democracy will be in jeopardy if Trump becomes president again. He will be a dictator.

If we buy the argument that Trump wishes to be a dictator, what impediments lie in his path?

Let us see:

  • The legacy media is a virtual wing of the Democrat party.
  • Most of academia lies to the left of the Democrat party.
  • Teachers Unions, which control many states, are lock step with Democrats.
  • Most large corporations bow in fear of socialists.
  • The FBI, DOJ and IRS have political agendas.
    • Does anyone believe the 85k new IRS agents will be impartial?
  • The rest of the federal bureaucracy will lay in wait to sabotage Trump.
  • Hollywood and the entertainment industry have a left agenda.
  • Right-wing protests have been banished by fear of prosecution, while even violent left-wing protests get a free pass.
  • The deep state in collusion with social media platforms censor hurtful information while promoting their narrative.

As the home team above uses a playbook that outlines pass plays, dives, quarterback keepers, and pitches for the game, the left uses a playbook written by Marxist Saul Alinsky in Rules for Radicals. A quote attributed to both Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky suggests:

“Accuse your opponent of what you are doing, to create confusion and to inculcate voters against evidence of your own guilt.”

Alinsky declares there are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state.

  1. Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people.
  2. Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible; poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
  3. Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
  4. Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a police state.
  5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).
  6. Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.
  7. Religion – Remove the belief in God from the government and schools.
  8. Class Welfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more disconnect, and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor.
